Not knowing where to start when a close friend died, and I had to arrange their funeral, AW Luck were first class. Other companies I had spoken to only seemed to want to do the hard sell, but Mr Luck spent time talking me through the process and not making me feel guilty because I had wanted a budget funeral.
He helped me also to select a crematorium and the Celebrant, and at every stage I felt that I could rely on him to deliver what was required. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

I choose A W Luck as the funeral directors for my mums funeral after speaking to several other funeral directors. They we very empathetic from the first call dealt with me as a grieving relative unlike some who insisted on telling me what I had to have and trying to spell on every little detail. As I had never arranged a funeral before I asked what would have seemed some very silly questions but nothing was too much for them and they were always happy to answer anything and give advice when necessary. We were able to speak to them at anytime and even dropped things off to be hurried with the body two days before the funeral. This is an extremely expensive time and decided to go with a simple budget funeral but the treatment and courtesy we received from this small family business was second to none, I cannot praise Les enough for how he has helped us during this very difficult time even down to phoning to check which hand certain jewellery should be placed on prior to the funeral. Thanks to A W Luck my mum had a wonderful send off. For a very professional, personal service you will not be disappointed.
