I have known graham and cliff for many years they conducted my mum and dad and in 2008 my husband funeral they are caring and so professional I cannot praise them enough. I hadn’t been to green lanes where graham had the other funeral directors, for many years and went today (31.8.18) and was very upset to see they were no longer there but I see they are still at kynaston road, I would recommend , and have done, this company to anyone. They conduct funerals like no others that I know
This small family run establishment excel in care and respect. The difficult time of a personal loss is smoothed and eased by these professionals.
They are total professionals - you cannot fault anything they do.
The company may be small but they are great in the service they deliver.
A Professional trust worthy polite and respectful funeral parlour with the diligence and considerations and care regarding my sister funeral especially Craig...Excellent 😊

It is heart breaking. I love C.R. Wigley & Sons service very much. It is true, they do regard you as a family member. They do take care of the whole funeral service. They are very experienced and professional. C.R. WIGLEY OFFERS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. There is no doubt about this.
When my mother in law died in 1987, C.R. Wigley took care of the funeral service. My husband died in 02 September 2017, I did not know W.R. Wigley is still providing the funeral service in the UK. Freemason told me they were there. I was very fortunate that they were. I have an issue with Highgate cemetery and C.R Wigley helped with this matter in a very professional manner. My husband is now buried with his mother as he wished. Thanks to C.R. Wigley.
C.R. Wiglay will always remain in my heart for good.

I won't bore you with details, other to say that this company handled my wife's funeral with great care and consideration.
I walked into this unprepossessing building and was seen by Craig who led me through the various options and listened to my particular requests attentively. The fact they had no website drew my interest more than it worried me. I'd visited competitors' websites and found the C. R. Wigley & Sons very competitive; I was even told when the price unexpectedly went down. On the day, Cliff took control of proceedings. They were courteous, patient and professional. Altogether, a faultless service.

LOVE AT ITS BEST
As a family we have known the family for a long time even before my daughter was born I remember my mum and dad walk and Mr Wrigley talking as though we were part of his family . My family moved to Tottenham Mr Wrigley retired sad but he worked hard
When mum pass away there was no one we though would give her the care she deserve. We got in touch with Graham and his brother they pass the message to their dad and when we got there he ask my dad would he give the pleasure of carrying the coffin I saw the sadness in his eyes and the proudness of him dad said I remember all those years and with gladness he was five the prevelage of doing this
This family made us fell comfortable treating us as theirs taken time care in our hour of grief their love kindness understanding without rushing , they help,through a very painful time aspecialy for my dad . We can never ever forget
They may be small,but they truly are,the best ones when your at the lowest in your life and in sorrow their care excels in their treatment of your passing family and friends please let them take care of you , I know it was the best thing we could have done even today we can say love of Mr Wrigley and his Sons to us Excellent Thank you xxsonia
A family run business, that gave us that personal touch!
They were warming, re-assuring and comforting wherever and whenever possible.
They gave us a fair price and took care of everything and everyone, knowing that we would be overwhelmed by emotions on the day! Most of all, it was so nice, not to be hit by any hidden charges!!
I can't praise them highly enough. I can honestly say that they've become our family friends, in a short space of time!

I picked C R Wigley when my husband passed away in October 2016 as they are a family owned business. I thought if they are a family owned business they would treat my husband and myself like family and from the moment I called they made me feel like family looking after me and guiding me when I asked for help! They were very professional! On the day of the funeral CR Wigely arrived and kept me informed at every stage and it was always when I was ready, so I didn't feel at any stage I was being rushed! At the grave side everyone was given instructions and when the grave was filled in C R Wigley arranged the flowers on the grave, took all the cards off and gave them to me! I would recommend C R Wigley in a heart beat! I read the lady's review about the cost of removal and I must say that I am disgusted at her attitude! Would she have complained as much about the cost if it were a plumber or gas company! At the end of the day we want the best for our loved one that has passed away and whilst we don't want to think about the cost etc we have to as it does cost to move a deceased one and the funeral directors are usually on call and at the end of the day it is a service they are providing! I felt every penny spent was worth It, my husband was being taken care of and his body was being treated with respect and dignity even though he was no longer with us! Thank you C R Wigley from the bottom of my heart! XX

I would like to thank C R Wigley and sons for their support, care, professionalism and friendly manner for the way they helped me with the funeral arrangements of my late Great Uncle. A lot of things were new to me, so they assisted every step of the way, being patient, providing regular daily updates. They negotiated fees that I could afford for the cost and agreed the times that payments were to be made. My uncle was treated with the utmost respect and his send off was like he was a member of the royal family. Once again thank you. xxx
I cannot fault anything. From the initial meeting to the actual day, everything was perfect. They did a trial run of the route, they arrived early to accommodate everyone getting into the family cars. It all ran so smoothly. My father had the best send off ever, thanks to Cliff, Graham and all the team.
Thank you for doing an impeccable job for Leli. You helped us honour the man who gave us everything. Craig, your sensitivity in the preparation and on the day made a world of difference, which helped to guide us towards our celebration of Leli's life. Both family and friends remarked on the genuine kindness, respect and empathy shown by Craig, Graham and the team to us all. We highly recommend this family business which made a very sad day bearable, for this we are forever grateful.
My name is Loraine (swag) and I attended a funeral recently which was officated by C R Wigley and Sons and felt compelled to write this review. I was not only amazed but astonished at the professionalism, care and attention administer by this small family business. Over the past year or so I have attended a number of funerals which were conducted by other funeral directors and did not get and feel the same vibe, sympathy or empathy. The Director and staff I felt treated the grieving family as well as the attendees with compassion, friendliness and warmth. Five stars demonstrates how highly I rate this Company.
I would highly recommend CR Wigley & Sons, firstly as many of you know dealing with the loss of someone close to you is hard enough and after speaking with Millers Essex Road (who's prices are a joke) , the best decision I made was choosing this directors they listened to what I wanted and made it happen with no glitches. I found the fact it's a original directors which is family owned made them stand out against the competitors as the service is personal to you needs, a tailored funeral if you like with extremely reasonable prices.
The Chapel of rest is lovely they made dad look handsome and played soothing music, the fact it's on their premises is another reason I choose them.
On the actual funeral day I wouldn't be able to describe how excellent or amazing the day was saying good bye to my dad was hard enough but these guys looked amazing they were immaculate, respectable, polite. The men were completely in sync with one another they made me proud I know they were burring someone important but they showed how important my father was.
Also they never rushed us at the grave side give us all time even people who wasn't as mobile as others they were there to aid. I must say if you are looking for honest, professional funeral directors who will meet your every need CR Wigley and Son are the best you will find.
Having attended a number of funerals in this area I had concerns about certain funeral directors although C.R Wigley & Sons was not one of these directors, after reading the above complaint I was obviously dubious about them. My Mum had a pre-paid funeral plan however I was prepared to and advised that I could transfer to another funeral director if necessary.
After speaking to several other funeral directors in the area I found that C.R Wigley & Sons were empathetic from my first call. The Wigley office and chapel was clean and tidy, the décor was fitting for the service they were providing. They were very professional and experienced in every aspect of the funeral preparation and thoughtful in meeting the emotional and practical needs of my family.
Even though my Mums funeral was pre-paid there was extra cost such as extra cars, moving my Mums body to lay in church overnight the Wigley’s rates were very competitive and in fact when arranging to move my Mums body to the church they negotiated with the priest to arrange a time to suit the family’s needs even at a lost to themselves.
As a grieving relative the treatment and courtesy received from this small family business was exemplary. I asked many questions some on refection was quite silly but nothing was too much for them, they we’re always happy to answer anything I asked and was willing to give advice when necessary.
The personal service was not only memorable but it made my Mums funeral moving and beautiful I cannot thank and praise the Wigleys enough, I am so grateful for their kindness and empathy during this difficult time, and if you are looking for a professional person centred service you will not be disappointed by them.
I would not recommend CR Wigley and Sons, their fees are extortionate, charging £375 just for the collection of my Mum, and driving no more than 4 miles the establishment is unclean, shabby and the air is saturated with stale cigeratte smoke. As soon as I saw where my Mum had been taken I took immediate steps to have her removed to another funeral directors.
