Having suffered 2 family bereavements in recent months we cannot speak too highly of the care, compassion and absolute service shown by the team of professionals at AA Walters.Everyone we dealt with there showed genuine care and concern to ensure family wishes were observed to the letter .We would have absolutely no problem recommending them in what is an extremely traumatic time in anyone’s lives. Our sincere thanks to Steph and the staff for their wonderful help and discretion .

I felt that I had to send praise to the staff at A& A Walters Tipton for the most beautiful funeral that they gave my husband, how caring they were and kind to me when I needed support. From the time I asked them to look after my husband right up until the day of the funeral they were all so professional and everything I wanted was done to perfection. A special thanks to Steph, for all the organization she did and the many calls that she had to keep taking from me, such a caring lady. There is nothing like knowing that you can put your trust in someone, so caring, to look after your loved one, my beautiful husband, that I loved so much.

My wife Christine passed away in February 2021. We had previously used Walters when our parents had passed away.
Andrew from the Sedgley office was very helpful and understanding during all of our discussions which were by telephone because of the national restrictions in place.
We were delighted with the seagrass casket, the flowers, and the cars provided.
En route to the crematorium the cars stopped outside Bramford Primary School where Christine had retired from so the staff could pay their respects which was a very touching moment.
The vicar Jan Humphries was wonderful and the service was inspirational.
The arrangements on the day were faultless I would highly recommend them.

A and A Walters of Tipton provided us with impeccable service for our Mum’s funeral, Barbara Smith in February this year. Kim was compassionate and professional from the first conversation. We felt supported throughout, especially during such a difficult time of a pandemic. The attention to detail was second to none. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company. We were guided with compassion to plan a very beautiful , personal funeral service. They sorted flowers for us too, which were beautiful. We requested the service of a celebrant , who they recommended-Helen-who again, was both professional but also very warm and friendly. It was like chatting to an old friend!
Every step of the way, Kim treated us with respect, and we felt sure that our mum was given a very dignified send off . Thank you

A.A. Walters have been at the forefront of most of our families funerals with good reason. They are kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and at a time when most people aren’t thinking as clearly as they should be they are there to guide and make sure everything is as you would like it.
We can’t recommend them highly enough.

It’s a horrible time to say goodbye to loved ones, but everything was organised for us in the most efficient manor. On the day, the service was perfect. Thank you

We recently arranged a funeral for my great Aunt. The staff at A&A Walters couldn’t have been more helpful. Steph took us through everything step by step. Nothing was too much trouble. Steph was friendly and approachable and made the whole experience positive.
The funeral was exactly as we’d planned. The Gentlemen from Walters were very helpful. We have always used Walters for our family funerals and will continue to do so when neccesary.

I cannot thank the staff of A and A Walters funeral directors enough for the help and kindness that they provided to our family when arranging the funeral of our lovely mum Sarah Jane Brookes who died in October 2020. The death of a loved one is always an anxious time but we envisaged it would be even more so due to Covid restrictions. However, thanks to The Walters team everything was made easy - clear explanations were given at the start of the process, we were given help with choices and on line booking service was excellent. It was important to us that we used Walters as our family have been using their service since it was established over a hundred years ago and we very much liked the idea that it is still a family owned and run business. We felt safe and secure in the knowledge that our mum was looked after professionally right until the end. The actual service was perfect - just as we requested. I highly recommend this company. Everyone that I spoke to or came into contact with was friendly, professional and helpful. A special thank you to Kim Foxall who was there for us from the start.

Alan Birch's Family says...

We unexpectedly lost our Dad in December 2018. A & A Walters helped us with arranging the funeral. It was an extremely difficult time for us as a family and we were very grateful for the caring and sympathetic approach we received. A big thank you to lovely Alexis in the office, to the gracious staff who opened up special for visiting on a Sunday and to the very professional guys on the funeral day. You all helped to make it special for our Dad.

Nick Shee says...

An excellent company who understands what it means to be a family business! At your worst time they are there to help and assist in any way they can! I would recommend to anyone!

Kim griffiths says...

We lost mom in January 2016 and we found the staff thoughtful and caring, very pleasant nothing was too much trouble. Mom's funeral went as dad and the family wanted. We had an invite to a 2017 Christmas memorial service which was a beautiful evening.
Recently we lost our father and we went back to Walters, and their same thoughtful caring staff. We made a request to take in a couple of detours. Firstly they drove dad past his youngest grandchildrens home so they could wave goodbye. Then allowing dad to pay his final respects to the fallen of conflicts at the war memorial in bilston finally we drove past where he played football for many years. Mom and dad's ashes are with me at the moment; we know what we want to do but are unsure how to go about it, we have decided to wait until the new year, Walters are happy to help and advise when we are ready.
We would like to say thank for helping us through a difficult time, names that come to mind are Bert, Alexis and Tony all the staff thank you and God bless

Mrs D Parton says...

I would like to thank all staff involved with the arrangements for my late husband. The service I received from A & A Walters was first class, staff were compassionate, understanding and nothing was too much trouble for them in helping me provide the service I wanted for my husband.
My husband sadly passed away whilst we were in Germany on holiday and from the very first phone call staff understood the difficulties we were experiencing. They liaised with the undertaker in Germany to ensure all the details for the repatriation were completed. I cannot thank them enough for helping me through this very difficult time. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other family members and friends. Thank you again.
