Used their direct cremation service. They didn’t even call us to say the cremation had been scheduled/completed. The first we knew was when we got a letter from the crematorium to collect the ashes. An absolute disgrace from a company with a strong local reputation
My family and wish to sincerely thank you for your help and support regarding my brother Tom’s funeral. You have been so professional at and kind to us on such a sad occasion. I particularly want to say thank you to Melanie and James. Your response to any questions we had were prompt and respectful. I would recommend Walker & Sons to anyone wishing to have the best service I could ask for.

Reviews can be very misleading and I encourage the reader to not fall for the calm and collective face of Walkers as I myself have done.
Please look around, they are not only expensive compared to other funeral directors but also very inefficient and misleading in what they promise.
I have been informed that they are soon to be the subject of a public enquiry.
