Please, please do not use this company. They are now called Dignity but by no means live up to their name. They let our family and my Father down BIG TIME. We had to do all the running round, taking music and photos up to the crematorium and making sure all was set up for the day. We had to put our advert in the paper because they forgot. Even on the day of the funeral they rang to say they'd forgot the service cards. And even when we got to the crematorium they had put on insufficient pallbearers.

We questioned the costs, and trust me it wasnt about money, but they sent a bill stating the services they had given to the diciest and the family....WHAT SERVICE. We came to a mutual agreement but please if you dont want to experience what my family have for the past 6 weeks please DO NOT USE WILLIAMS. They have bought a reputable name and they are quickly ruining it.

From the day of my fathers death in January to today in March, I can honestly say that I have never come across such shocking customer care. Dad died on a Friday and we were told his body would be taken into care from the hospital that day and we would be contacted by the priest that afternoon. Later on the undertaker telephoned to inform us that Dad would be collected a week later and after much discussion we were told that Tuesday was the earliest they could do. The priest didn't call and when we visited the church, he hadn't been contacted. We agreed with the priest that Friday or the following Tuesday were suitable dates for the funeral. We visited the undertaker to discuss dates to be told that it was taking place in two weeks. They had to then telephone the priest and the cemetery to get an earlier date. On the day of the funeral we were given a form with all attendees to be published in the local press. When after 6 weeks there still was no notice, we were informed that these forms were no longer used and Williams knew this in January. My mother had agreed to use this company for her funeral care plan but will now no longer be doing so after being so shoddily treated. This company merits zero stars but one was the minimum allowed
