Liz and her team are caring, compassionate and ultra professional with a sense of humour that made a difficult time as easy as it could be. I have used this funeral director's previously when my father died and was very happy with their service, however they have now moved up to a standard that is at the highest possible level. I dealt mainly with Liz and soon felt like I'd known her for ever! And also with Andrea regarding the order of service booklets, again that was an excellent experience.
On the day of the funeral Neil and his gentlemen were quite brilliant. They have trained to a standard only reached on a parade ground by elite Guards regiments! I did fear for Neil's safety as he walked along a busy road of fast traffic in front of the hearse though. Again great attention to the smallest details coupled with respect and dignity ensured everything went smoothly.
Altogether very impressive and worthy of more than 5 stars. I would recommend these wonderful people without a second's hesitation.

Alan passed away in Warrington Hospital after a stay of approx a week. With the help of the Bereavement Office at the Hospital, Knox & Son made the necessary arrangements and conducted the Committal for Alan at Walton Lea Crematorium, today 16th January 2018. My wife, Carol and I were the sole people attending the committal. We were and, remain extremely impressed with the professional yet friendly manner of every member of the Funeral Director's team. Towards Alan and to Carol and myself. It was a sad occasion for us made much easier by the accommodating and helpful manner, especially of Neil. I would not hesitate to recommend these lovely, caring Funeral professionals.

On Tuesday 8th August you looked after the funeral arrangements for my Mum, The Late Alma Dorothy McMillan. May I take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to you all. My Sister and Niece had the toughest time making all the arrangements but you made them feel comfortable and at ease. Being a funeral director myself I know how important it is that a family needs to know that you care and you will look after their loved one with a high level of dignity and compassion, which you did. Thank you for getting Jacqueline Taylor to officiate at Mum's service. All my family said she carried out all of our wishes with great dignity and we all left the service, if I can say this, on a high. You have a fantastic team there. I would not hesitate to recommend you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking care of my Mum. I feel safe in the knowledge that she was cared for in the most dignified way that only she deserved.

We would like to say that all at Knox & son were absolutely brilliant and very very professional during our recent funeral, they were a great support from start to finish and also big thank you to neil who looked after me as I was on crutches and Liz who made the whole experience very easy.
