Mrs Hazel Reece says...

As a family we could not have asked for better service than that which we received from Damian and the team at Pope. When we met Damian as a family to decide which funeral service to use, we immediately felt that Pope was a good fit for our family. The team were very genuine with their compassion, and were able to put us all at ease.
Every step of the journey through the funeral and then collecting my husband's ashes, the team were fantastic.
There were many occasions when they went above and beyond for us, helping us with all sorts of small details, and making great suggestions to help make the funeral very personal. Thank you

Pope's arranged my common-law wife's funeral for Tuesday 6th February at St Joseph's Winsford. We had been together 17 years and have two daughters. My Common-law wife's parents are estranged from me and did not invite me to her funeral. In desperation I drove up from Nantwich On Monday 5th February to find the parlour arranging her funeral. Came across Pope's and they confirmed they were arranging her funeral. They told me she was to be cremated at Crewe at around 11 a.m. I went to the crematorium at Crewe. She was cremated at Vale Royal at around 11.15 a.m.
Utterly disgraceful.

Colette Crowther says...

The funeral Director (Damian) and colleagues made a very difficult time so much easier. They helped make all the funeral arrangements including the church, choir, flowers, order of service, funeral cars and after the funeral organised a head stone. Nothing was too much trouble. They were caring and took on board our wishes. We would have no hesitation recommending Pope Funeral Services.

Jane says...

The care and sensitivity shown by Popes following a recent bereavement was second to none.

All of the staff are incredibly courteous and couldn't do enough for us.

They made a very difficult time, easier to deal with knowing all of the arrangements for the funeral were in hand.

Thank you

A big thanks to all the staff at Pope's for making a difficult time so much easier to handle. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the polite way that the office staff handled the arrangements to the professional service received from the lads on the day. Excellent all round!

Everyone told me how good popes were and they do all the funerals at my care home, but they were rude, Insensitive staff, truly bad in my experience, they made a massive mistake in regards to my family and upset my Nan/next of kin to my grandad, and tried to blame us, they also were rude to my mum about the whole thing when she spoke to them, disrespectful, unorganised, wouldn't do it again my grandad deserved better, will be going elsewhere
