When my father passed away 6 years ago, my mother , myself and the rest of the family were heartbroken.
We had never been to a funeral that Irene Jessop had done before so we looked around. There was a undertakers on Thornaby Road Thornaby that came out to see my mother and wanted £2000 up front before they'd touch my father.
My brother got in touch with Irene and it was the best idea he's had.
Not only was she friendly and helpful but she was incredibly caring.
Any questions or queries that we had Irene and her wonderful staff were only to willing to help.
Irene and her staff were the shining light at a very dark time in our lives.
My mother has already said that she wants Irene and her staff to deal with her when the time comes.
Not only is she and her staff there for us during the funeral and everything that entails but she also checks on us all 6 years later.
She's an incredible lady.

Irene jessop is a lovely lady and her staff are very friendly the funeral home is a lovely place spooky clean and welcoming when I lost my husband nothing was to much trouble for her and her staff she really helped me and my family at such a difficult time nothing was to much trouble for her or her staff every day when I used to visit my husband there was a fresh flower in his hand she wasnt asked to do that she has looked after a few members of my family and shell be looking after me when I join my husband other funeral services wanted over 2 thousand pounds before they would touch him irene never asked for a penny great lady and great funeral services

We contacted Irene Jessup after my mother in law passed away,she came to my house to arrange the service and was very understanding and compassionate. She didn't believe in han d shakes and give us all a hug. She is full of knowledge and helped us plan our service without given the hard sell. I would like to say a great big thank u and I would definitely recommend her in the future.
During this very sad time, soon after contacting Jessops- we had a personal visit from Irene to help up arrange the funeral for my Dad. She was very helpful and let us include everything we wanted during the service. The family could not have wished for better service. I can strongly recommend this company.
