We just care that the family feel good about how they did the funeral; perhaps make good new memories .......... but at least know they arranged a proper farewell for that one person who they knew and loved. Our job is to guide and advise and walk with them - and make sure it goes exactly as they wanted it; and we are good at it! We care; we have the experience; and we have ideas. Most families want a funeral that reflects the individual life of their loved one; we can really encourage and help. You probably know you no longer need to follow the old Victorian rules. But you are often given a range of services off the peg. We will guide you through personalised ideas and choices that will allow you to feel you have hit the spot with your decisions - even to say \"that was a good funeral\" and ....... \"she would have loved it!\"

The service we received from Family Tree amidst the death of my Grandma was nothing short of remarkable. James and the team went above and beyond the call of duty to support my family during this difficult time, visiting us at our family home on a Sunday and being on-hand and available whenever we needed them. They allowed us the freedom of choice to ensure the service was as an authentic and personal tribute to Iris as possible. James' presence at the funeral was one of surprising comfort and I couldn't recommend a kinder, more caring and more genuine team to assist anyone dealing with loss in this process. Thank you James. We are eternally grateful to you and we are happy to have gained a family friend out of a sad situation.

After losing my Father unexpectedly who was only 58 years old and just 4 weeks after the sudden death of his dear sister, choosing Family Tree Funeral directors was to be the easiest decision I was about to make having been recommended to me by my cousins after James helped them organise their mums funeral a few weeks prior.

When I arrived at James' office, full of cold, sinusitis and in immense shock I was immediately made to feel at ease. James noticed I was struggling and adjourned to another day, an innate ability to read a situation, a person and how they are feeling and know exactly what they need at that precise moment. He is Compassionate, understanding and extremely kind and caring throughout, I honestly cannot fault this man one bit. He is a wonderful person who has helped make this experience as pain free as possible, has gone above and beyond throughout and continues to do so even in the aftermath of both my Dad and Aunties funerals with sensitivity and first class care.

His kindness, attention to detail and approachability has blown me and my family away as has the way in which he has gently guided me through the intense, emotional and very difficult decision making process that you go through under these tragic circumstances. In doing so Dad had a bespoke funeral that really reflected the brilliant and funny man that he was. I am not sure I could have achieved this without the team at Family Tree.

I honestly cannot thank him and his colleagues enough for the care they have given us at this incredibly difficult time and will be forever grateful for their support and patience, something that is so very valuable in our darkest of times.

Considerate, accommodating, professional and seemingly always available at the end of the phone, James and Catherine at The Family Tree Funeral Company really did enable us to give our Mum the send-off she deserved. No idea was too extravagant or request too challenging. Organised yet compassionate, the team gently guided us through what was a tremendously difficult time. It felt as though they really got to know us, and to know the person our Mum was. They even helped contribute to some very unique ideas which really helped capture the memory of our Mum on a day that turned out to be one of celebration rather than a day of mourning and sadness.

Although not imperative, but an important consideration, the funeral was very fairly priced and I do not begrudge a single penny.

It sounds soppy and overzealous, but we shall genuinely forever be grateful to these people for the superb service they have provided, and wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you.
