I have buried 4 members of my family now & how I wished I had used Warwick Peters & their very excellent Celebrant Mark Collins at the other family members services. Both John & Pat at Warwick Peters were superb without being too smarmy as some undertakers can be. John & Pat sorted out the problems with the Coroner & I didn't have to do anything other than let them know my wishes. Im not a great one for writing this kind of thing, but credit where credit is due Warwick & Peters made the service so special.
The Celebrant we used was a Mr Mark Peters & unlike the other 3 services I had arranged Mark Collins was a breath of fresh air & we hit it off instantly. Mark was as formal or informal as you wanted him to be, even offering to help arrange speeches etc. We spent about an hour discussing my late brothers very complicated life. Mark lay the grounding for a very compassionate & loving service that touched every everyone who attended. Warwick & Peters together with Mark Collins turned my brothers funeral into a remarkably good service that had grace, respect & dignity & joined the 3 completely different sections of my brothers friends together making it a very special day for all concerned.
A big thank you must go to Warwich Peters choice of Celebrant Mr Mark Collins. Mark also contacted us throughout while making the speech asking if we required else & he also suggested some very slight changes that made such a big difference to the story of my brothers life. Just about everyone thought that Mark knew my brother because his speech was so meaningful.
Thank you once again for a lovely service you did us proud & you did my brother proud. Jon Spencer
