As painful as yesterday was, it was also the single loveliest funeral I've ever been to. Every detail had been thought of. It was the kind of send-off Jake would have actually loved. No stuffiness, not overly formal, but completely appropriate. It was an emotional day, but every bit of it was meaningful. Thank you so much.
Absolutely top notch service, I can not recommend Mark enough. At a very tough time, he was happy to deal with as little or as much of the arrangements as we chose. Nothing was too much trouble.
While cost is largely irrelevant during the time of loss, Mark was very quick to ‘read’ us and the type of thing we were looking for, and suggested several ways to help keep the budget sensible - the polar opposite of most of the funeral directors which we looked into at the time.
We knew that a formal, traditional funeral was not what mum, or ourselves wanted. We were looking for something less formal, definitely more colourful and, without doubt, for the funeral to be all about our mum, her life, and the special bonds she had shared with those who cared about her.
On meeting Mark, and from our first discussions with him, we knew we had found the right person to give mum the 'special send off' she absolutely deserved. He was very approachable and respective of what was right for our mum. The range of price options ensured we were able to stay within a budget that was right for the family, whilst not compromising on doing the very best for mum.
Mark exceeded our expectations in terms of the care he gave to mum, but also to us. He stayed by our side and ensured we knew what was happening and what to expect throughout the preparations.
On the day of the funeral Mark had perfectly organised everything for us and the service was just as we wanted, a fitting and memorable tribute to mum.
Mark's support and thoughtfulness was invaluable and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to take care of the arrangements for your loved one.
Our funeral director Mark was very helpful and caring. At such an emotional time it was good to be able to leave everything to someone who knows what he's doing, especially as we needed to have a post-mortem done. Mark kept us informed as to where our loved one was and exactly what was happening.

I guess it’s always difficult no matter what the circumstances but our relative died after a rapid illness and left no real guidance, other than to keep the cost down. Mark provided calmness and organisation when we had little. He dispelled myths about the process we were entering into and enabled us to have a full and proper funeral in a different and memorable manner, one that we are proud of and few will forget. With creativity and focus Mark guided us to ensuring a proper send off for our loved one. He showed immense understanding and great patience.
We achieved the unique event, we wanted. It was fitting yet different, formal enough for us and respectful. Mark enabled us to have a funeral at a reasonable cost without cutting corners and we even had some novel elements that added to the overall quality. Nothing was too much trouble and in hindsight it was a great experience.
