When the unthinkable happened and we lost Dad, there was only one choice of Funeral Directors for our family. This was the third family funeral that K&T Shields has organised for us over the years. I am so grateful for their understanding, flexibility and immense patience during our difficult time. Because of them, we were able to give Dad the respectful and personal farewell he deserved and for this I will always be grateful - Thank you.
Trevor & his team have just organised the funeral of my Father and we couldn't have received better service. The whole family were treat with dignity and respect and Trevor saw to it that all our requests were carried out exactly as we specified, keeping us updated with developments throughout Excellent family business offering value for money and would definately recommend. Could not have done enough for us for the third time. Kevin and Trevor went above and beyond as usual, when we needed them.We found them caring throughout. The Inside Out programme has been talked about a lot recently but as many have said it is nothing like that company. We support them 200%.
Watch BBC Inside Out North East and Cumbria, 15 Oct 2018 where these chancers are exposed for what they really are. Conned us into having my father in only a shroud, rather than the suit we had ready. Added £1030 to the bill without any discussion or mention. When we disputed this, they sent us fake T&Cs, clearly not from the time my parents bought their funeral plans. They refused to honour our mother's funeral plan as we wouldn't fall for the scam. On the whole, I don't feel I can recommend them.
Cannot thank you all enough for everything yous done when my father passed away you done everything for the family. Fantastic service thank you so much.
