Wonderful service during a difficult time

When left the unfortunate task of arranging an unexpected funeral for a loved one, Graham Ward Funeral Directors could not have been more helpful, compassionate and understanding.

Mr Ward is both polite and professional in his guidance during a difficult time and we could not rate him highly enough. He has made a very difficult situation a little easier and we have no hesitation in recommending his services.

From offering simple, but honest guidance throughout the arrangements to his respectful support on the actual day of the funeral, he has been invaluable. All family and friends commented on the professional service offered by Mr Ward and his team.

Disgraceful service

I'd give this no stars if I could.

I telephoned the owner of the funeral home to enquire about my partner who died. Mr Ward, the owner was rude, blunt, arrogant and just disgraceful towards me and my family who were also (unknown to me) trying to find where our relative was.

I felt from talking to this person, that he's only interested in money. There was no compassion from him whatsoever. After discussing this with my family, we had our loved one moved to another funeral home. It was our belief that Mr Ward needs to learn some respect and understanding towards grieving people. We've reported him to the relevant authorities and the QMC/ coroner as he's not fit to work in this role. Please go to another funeral home as this one isn't fit for purpose.
