It seems odd to review this type of service but I felt it important due to the unbelievable service and care we received from Colin and the team at Wades. My mother passed away in May from terminal cancer and at our most vulnerable, we were left with arranging her funeral. As she died in a Hospice, her body was automatically transported to a local funeral home. On meeting the Funeral Director of this home, we did not feel that the service was very personal and it all felt very transactional.

I made the decision to shop around and as Wades were local to my Father I gave them a call. From the moment I spoke with Colin I felt compelled to meet with him. We arranged a consultation as a family and all immediately felt that this was the organisation to help us through this difficult period.

From beginning to end, Wades have made a horrible time so much more bearable. Nothing was too much and they were so respectful when speaking of my mother, that you would have thought that Colin and the team actually knew her personally.

The service was absolutely outstanding and I would have no hesitation in recommending Colin and the team to any other family going through this difficult time.

As an aside, the day went perfectly and we were able to give my mother the kind of funeral she deserved.
