How can you even begin to do anything when you have lost your child?! My 28yr old off duty police officer son died in a tragic accident. We were distraught and broken and we contacted Williamson brothers as funeral director. From that moment our Lukey boy was looked after so well and with such dignity and respect. Whatever we asked or wanted was done immediately and exactly as we requested. It was a very large police funeral and liaison between the police and Williamson’s was fantastic. Although the funeral was the saddest day of our lives somehow it was outstanding which was all down to the Robert and the team at Williamson’s. The kindness and respect and after service has been amazing, thank you all for your help at this difficult time. I highly recommend that if you are looking for someone to care for your loved one when they have passed choose Williamson bothers.

We have just had the unfortunate task of planning my dad's funeral. This was something completely out of our experience and felt ill prepared. From the minute we contacted Williamson Brothers we were met with a calm, sensitive efficiency. We dealt with both James and Robert: both of whom responded quickly to any queries, working over the weekend to ensure our arrangements were sorted as soon as they possibly could be. Our communication was in person, by phone and email and no question went unanswered. With their help we achieved a funeral that felt highly personal and represented the love we felt for our special person. I would highly recommend their services.

Following the death of my beloved husband I would like to thank Williamson’s for the caring and compassionate way in which they dealt with the arrangements throughout.
Darren provided an excellent service keeping me informed every step of the way and was very professional showing kindness and consideration.
Williamson’s have dealt with 4 other family members previously and have always given a consistent level of service each time.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Williamson’s.

We would highly recommend the exceptional service that Williamson Brothers provide. Everyone was part of ‘the team’ and no matter who we met or talked to as soon as we mentioned my aunt’s name they knew who we were.
Our aunt was well looked after throughout her lying in state and Robert was always to offer help and guidance during this period. As we live over one hundred and fifty miles away from where our aunt was to be cremated Robert organised all the meetings necessary for us to finalise the arrangements and notifications in one visit.
On the day of the funeral Robert and his gentlemen looked after us meticulously with kindness and compassion. We felt that at all times we were their only clients. Everything ran smoothly and we felt at ease throughout the day knowing that Robert was overseeing all the stages of the arrangements.
The following week Robert phoned to ask how we were and to see if we wanted to place a memoriam in the local Sentinel newspaper and once again, he helped us with the wording of the notice.
This family run business more than held up to the highest of standards, of care and attention to detail in every aspect of the funeral arrangement process. It was all that we could have hoped for our dearly loved aunt - respect, dignity and care.
Williamson Brothers is a well-respected family firm and we would certainly recommend them without any hesitation.

I work in the Middle East and it was a shock to learn that my treasured father passed away suddenly. On the long flight home I dreaded the thought of planning his funeral and how cold and horrid it would be. Mr Robert Williamson was considerate, calm and nothing a grieving daughter asked of him was too much trouble. He even went out of his way to get the best possible outcome for one such task I posed to him which is a comfort daily. I was worried that it would be 'just another funeral to them' it was not. His team were impeccable and never rushed us and treated dad with the utmost respect, they took care of everything and were such a support in our time of need. Such a horrific day was smoothed over by their kindness and it was a relief.
