R. Hadley Funeral Services of Halesowen was formed in 1994 by Richard Hadley, the office was originally located in Wordsley, Stourbridge until being moved to Colley Gate, Halesowen. The business had been owned by Richard with assistants from Elaine and Anne up until 2008. Due to other commitments Richard sold the business to Trevor E.W Hickton Ltd with Ross Hickton personally looking over the day to day running of the office still helped by long standing employees, Elaine and Anne. In 2014 with the purchase of the property in Windmill Hill by the Hickton family, the decision was made to incorporate the Hickton name in to the trading name of the office.
