I am a member of the UK Society of Celebrants and have both training and experience in creating unique, personal ceremonies which celebrate the life of your loved one in an uplifting and loving way. I will work with your Funeral Director to ensure you have the ceremony of your choice. A funeral can be a chance to celebrate the life, loves and achievements of the person who has died. With my sympathetic guidance I can help you create a ceremony that captures the individuality and character of the deceased. I will meet with the family, listen to your anecdotes and memories and build a picture of the person you have lost. Together we can choose readings, poems and music to create a ceremony that is unique, loving and memorable. I am happy to include any family traditions or ceremonies within the service and am equally comfortable with secular, spiritual or religious themes. Many people are now realising that a funeral can break away from traditional ideas and stiff formality. The ceremony can be themed to suit an interest or passion from a person’s life and it may also be a chance to share with friends and family their loves and last wishes. An escort of motorcycles might be a perfect touch, or maybe you would like to release dozens of helium balloons. Whatever you choose, I will do my best to make sure your ceremony is perfectly suited to your lost loved one. Some families prefer to have a simple cremation or burial with only a few close relatives present. This is then followed by a larger Memorial Ceremony. This allows the gathering to be held in any place you chose: a beach or a garden, in fact any place that is special to you all. I will use all my professional skills and resources and create for you a funeral service that is sympathetic to your wishes and a loving and memorable ceremony honouring the person you have lost.
